The BASIC module

This module provides elementary functions for using networked PCs in a seminar or lesson environment. Integrated  HDGUARD® software provides for the required security of the workstations.

Integrated video networking

In connection with the integrated video networking, numerous performance features are available for designing the lesson, which can be transmitted from screen to screen virtually in real time: 

• Transmission of audio and video sequences in virtual real time. 
• Send audio and video sequences to your student stations to compliment and enhance your subject matter!

Screen transmission

Demonstrate entire lesson steps using screen transmission.  Various modes can also be selected during this process: 

The student can work by himself during the transmission and show his solutions, or he can simply follow the teacher’s formats in the „forced mode“.

File exchange

The exchange of files with students is set up to be flexible depending on the situation: 

• INiS can distribute entire documents and collect them again after they are processed - easy when using Windows Explorer.
• Transmission of the clipboard to the students, on the other hand, allows a solution to be made available step-by-step.
  

Creativity in teaching and learning

Having numerous communication functions allows for a great deal of creativity in teaching and learning.

Using the Chat function or the Chat Room, you can include one or more students in a quick exchange of information or a „silent“ group discussion.

The „handraising“ function allows students to describe a problem that has occurred in a non-distracting way and to ask the teacher for help.

Remote control of workstations, transmitting screens to other

students, temporary blocking of student screens as well as displaying all students at the same time in a scalable, mosaic overview round out the scope of services of the video transmission.

And a protocol function keeps a record for you of who participated in the seminar.
