The DesktopControl module facilitates the desire of the teacher, in a very dynamic way, to have his students concentrate on content-related focal points. This pre-defined workflow can be set from the very beginning instead of on the variety of programs of the PC workstations.

A view on the teacher’s desktop displays all applications of each student workstation, which have been set up by the administrator as „permanently retrievable“ or „releasable“.

You can now select the applications individually or in groups and release them for use. The student can then start up only the programs required for the lesson on his PC.

Dynamic release

The unique feature of the DesktopControl module is the dynamic release! At the time the program is required for the lesson situation: you can either block other applications or make it available by a click on the mouse.

In typical INiS fashion, the application release can also be applied specifically for individuals, groups or all of the students. You can therefore pursue a very specific designed lesson with your students.

Specific use of programs with the Desktop module:

For introducing a type of problem, you can start a specific application at the same time for all students, as a way to save time.

Let them work in groups, as you release Excel for one half of the students and Word for the other half.
