Utilizing the Internet creates new perspectives and resources for effective lesson design.  INiS provides you with various opportunities to regulate Internet usage safely and accordingly to set requirements.

A teacher may block and enable the Internet for individual students, groups or all students with a simple mouse click, as dynamically as the situation requires. This brings Internet control out of Network admin and into the practical classroom.

Independence

Because INiS InternetControl works at an application level, it is effective independently of the type of Internet access. The module acts directly on the students’ workstations, regardless of whether you have established access to the Internet via router, proxy or other components .

Protect and guide your students

Define positive or negative lists, in order to reduce access to the Internet to features relevant only to the lesson.  

Predefined content filters keep undesired pages away:

Certain results of a search (e.g. via Google) can thus be blocked out and visiting pages that contain specific and unsuitable key words is excluded.

Keep track of the situation

In the protocol function, you have an overview view of who accessed each Internet page. 

INiS also displays the blocked pages to which your students did not have access due to the filter specifications.
