Efficient and sustained work on the network with students is generally only possible when each is assigned his own work area (Home directory) with corresponding profile structure.
The students must also be registered individually as users in a server directory service.
This is usually an ADS (Active Directory) for Windows, LDAP for Linux or NDS for NetWare. Whichever system you may use, INiS supports all major directory services.
With INiS-UserAdmin, the administration of students, classes, courses, work groups and instructors is effortless:
INiS is integrated into a specified directory service (ADS, LDAP, NDS). Every student is automatically assigned a Home directory, to which only he himself and the teacher have access.
Based on a uniform template, the students are assigned a user profile. |
